We, as a team of Shiksha Foundation, are helping many underprivileged girl students with their education, food and nutrition, sanitary pads for adolescence girls in urban slumps rural areas and tribal areas also health care.
Whom do we help?
We help children of very sick parents who are suffering from incurable/difficult to cure diseases like:
Cancer
Leprosy
HIV
Other contagious diseases which are dangerous for a growing child.
We also help students who:
are from poor economic background and
are unable to get admitted in good schools,
We also help students who:
For example:
Kids being raised by single parents.
Orphaned kids.
Children of housemaids.
Children of labor class parents.
How do we help?
We admit students to schools close to their residences, to avoid long travelling times. We help students with school fees and other educational needs like:
Uniforms, including school bags, shoes and socks.
Text books, Note books, Drawing and craft books, and other necessary reading books.
We also take care of requirements of day to day life of student, like:
Providing daily meal.
Taking care of medical needs.
